About
Carrière & Poirier

Founded in 1957, Kubota Carrière et Poirier is a third-generation family business, currently led by Michel Poirier, grandson of the founder René Carrière. After taking over from his father André and his brother Luc, Michel embarked on expanding the dealership, doubling its size.

Today, with over 25 dedicated employees and a wide range of high-quality Japanese equipment, Kubota Carrière et Poirier stands as one of the region's leading companies.

Who are we?

Carrière & Poirier Equipment Ltd is a family-owned business founded by René Carrière in 1957. Initially a Massey Ferguson dealer serving the agricultural community of Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais region, the business evolved with the involvement of his son-in-law, André Poirier, and his two sons, Michel and Luc (who sadly passed away in 1999). Together, they took over the business, specializing in Kubota products and equipment to bring Japanese quality to the region.

In 2019 and 2021, the company doubled the size of its facilities. Over the years, the company has sold more than 7,000 new Kubota units, making Carrière & Poirier one of the largest Kubota dealerships in Canada.
